Saturday (28/9) was the last day of 2019 Energy Saving Car Competition held in malang, East Java. On this last day, Garuda UNY Team (GUT) took part in the Fun Race. Garuda Urban Etanol participated in the Fun Race category and got the first rank. Urban Etanol had experiences some failures before, but in the end the car even surprised other participants because of its speed ability as well as saving fuel used ability.
Garuda Urban Gasoline from Garuda UNY team also presented the third rank for Urban Concept Gasoline Category. Urban Gasoline had also participated in Sepang SIrkuit, Malaysia before. On this last day, a Closing Ceremony was also held in one of Malang State University buildings..
"Thanks God for what we have achieved. But we always have to be ready for any challenges and improvements that wait us in the future," said Garuda UNY advisor, Sutiman, M.T.
"Although we get the first rank in Fun Race category and third rank in Urban MPD Gasoline category, these achievements has not been maximized yet. Our next year target is to get the overall champion of KMHE 2020," said Nurdin Wahid, the manager of Urban Gasoline team. (Qurlita Syaharani)
