PT KOMATSU INDONESIA COOPERATES WITH UNIVERSITAS NEGERI YOGYAKARTA

PT Komatsu Indonesia collaborates with Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta in various fields. This was realized with UNY's visit to the office of PT Komatsu Indonesia Cibitung Plant, Bekasi, West Java. UNY sent Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs Prof. Siswantoyo accompanied by Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Herman Dwi Surjono, Vice Dean for Academic, Student Affairs and Alumni of the Faculty of Vocational Studies Dr. Sutopo, Secretary of the Directorate of Academic, Student Affairs and Alumni Kristiyono, MH, Head of Student Welfare Supriyono, S.IP, Expert Staff of the Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs Dr. Cerika Rismayanthi, Head of PI and Internship Division Yosep Efendi, M. Pd and a number of Career and Alumni Center staff.

According to Siswantoyo, the visit was to strengthen the internship program, collaborative research and graduate absorption. "Internship MBKM in the supplier company PT Komatsu Indonesia and educational internships for the development of Corporate University Komatsu" he said. The follow-up is monitoring and evaluation of MBKM Batch 2 internship students, Corporate University Komatsu Batch 2 internships as well as preparation for MBKM students and Corporate University Komatsu Batch 3 internships.

PT Komatsu Indonesia HR Manager Widiana, MBA said that research on educational themes for the development of Corporate University Komatsu and Research and Development of Komatsu and SMK Cooperation Programs in the Komatsu Class program at SMK. There is also Technology Improvement Research in the production section of PT Komatsu Indonesia and Supplyer Companies (PT Cahaya Baja Kamindo, PT Surya Agung Sentosa, PT Inspirasi Kreasi Sejahtera, PT Fusoh Tube Part Indonesia, PT Metal Castindo Indonesia, etc.). "The theme of engineering research which is one of Komatsu's main focuses is the reduction of carbon emissions in the production environment," said Widiana.

MBKM internship alumni who meet the criteria will be recruited as Komatsu employees. Students who have passed the selection are G. Yudha Fatria Egiansyah (Mechanical Engineering STR class of 2019). UNY will monitor G. Yudha Fatria Egiansyah to complete the Final Project in March 2023, and immediately get SKL, so that in April 2023 he has met the educational qualification requirements for PT Komatsu Indonesia employees. In addition, it will also strengthen the UNY alumni network at PT Komatsu Indonesia to help the absorption of graduates.
