UNY'S MECHATRONICS ENGINEERING EDUCATION STUDY PROGRAM RECEIVED SUPERIOR ACCREDITATION FROM BAN-PT

The National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) has officially awarded the superior accreditation category for the UNY Mechatronic Engineering Education Study Program. This accreditation will be valid until June 2026. "This excellent accreditation is a collective result with various parties contributing," said the Dean of FT UNY, Prof. Herman Dwi Surjono, Ph.D.

“This accreditation is proof of the recognition of the quality of education at FT UNY in general and the UNY Mechatronic Engineering Education Study Program. This achievement is a mandate and trust that must be maintained," added Prof. Herman.

Meanwhile, the Coordinator of the Mechatronic Engineering Education Study Program, Sigit Yatmono, M.T., hopes that with this accreditation status, the public will be more confident in the quality of UNY's education. "Hopefully, with this superior status, more students will be interested in studying mechatronics at UNY," he said.

With this achievement, Sigit hopes that students will be more enthusiastic and more confident when they graduate and will be more easily accepted for work. "We will continue to try to improve the quality of the study program implementation, because after all, the times that are always dynamic must always be anticipated. Standardization of study programs is the most appropriate indicator,” said Sigit. (hryo, Tj. Lak)
