Al-'Aadiyaat UNY Won 1st Place in the Indonesian Humanoid Football Robot Contest Region I Year 2024

The 2024 Regional Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) has been held by the National Achievement Center of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology at Universitas Muhammadiyah Solo. This activity took place from May 27 - June 1, 2024 which was carried out online through the Zoom Meeting media.

UNY itself participated in seven categories in this contest, namely the Mobo-Evo Team (KRSBI-Wheeled), Gareng Punk Team (KRSI), Al-'Aadiyaat Team in (KRSBI-Humanoid), Maestro-Evo Team (KRAI), Abhinaya Team (KRTMI), Mavis Team (KRBAI) and Rosemery Team (KRSTI) in Region I.

The Humanoid Soccer Robot of Yogyakarta State University, better known as Al-'Aadiyaat, won another championship at the Indonesian Robot Contest held by Puspresnas. In this contest, the Al-'Aadiyaat Team's struggle paid off by winning 1st place in the Indonesian Humanoid Soccer Robot Contest (KRSBI-Humanoid) Region I. The results of the championship were read out by the Jury Prof. Dr. Benyamin Kusumoputro Professor of the University of Indonesia, Al-'Aadiyaat Team got the highest points of 90 points from a total of 8 teams from 8 different universities throughout Indonesia. Al-'Aadiyaat has 4 dashing and agile humanoid robots. The 4 robots have their own characteristics, but have the same philosophy as the meaning of the name and logo of Al-'Aadiyaat, namely, a dashing and agile war horse that is ready to defeat the opponent.

The Al-'Aadiyaat team consists of 19 active students from various majors and a supervisor lecturer named Ariadie Chandra Nugraha, S.T., M.T. as the supervisor and team members namely,

Electronics - Cikal Ardhiansyah Indra Purnomo (Electrical Engineering), Muhamad Yoga Pangestu (Electrical Engineering), Amara Livia Andini Putri (Electrical Engineering), Fahreizain Ainur Ridho (Electrical Engineering), Veri Saputra (Electrical Engineering).

To prepare for the Region l level competition, the Al-'Aadiyaat Team started from checking the readiness of the robot, designing, field arrangement, to making motion to compete. Hudzaifi believes that in preparing for this competition, the whole team played an active role in carrying out each process.

Supervising lecturer Ariadie Chandra Nugraha, ST, MT, said he was proud of the team's achievements at the regional level this year because it was better than the previous years and hoped that for the national level they could achieve better achievements than the previous year.

"Alhamdulillah, the Al-'Aadiyaat team won first place at the region 1 level, we are very grateful for this achievement. This is the first step for us to prepare for the next level, namely National. Of course we will prepare as much as possible and prepare our best strategies in the field later to beat other big teams. Please pray and support for the Al-Aadiyaat team to be given smoothness and be able to appear as the best team at Nationals later." Said Hudzaifi as the leader of the Al-'Aadiyaat Team.
