One of the study programs (prodi) in FT UNY, namely the Family Welfare Education S-2 Study program, adds to the ranks of study programs that are included in the superior accreditation category from the higher education quality assurance agency based on BAN-PT Decree No. 1093/SK/BAN-PT/AK/M/III/2023 which is valid until June 2028. With this achievement valid for the next 5 years, so that students can now use the accreditation status to achieve more benefits. Improving the quality of education is continuously carried out and becomes the main focus of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (FT UNY) where it is proven through the recognition of external institutions, namely the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT).
Head of the Family Welfare Education Master Program, Prof. Dr. Dra. Kokom Komariah, M.Pd. said the entire team had made every effort to fulfill all components of accreditation. "All processes have been passed in accordance with the requirements standardized by BAN-PT including supporting evidence both documentarily and physically that we have fulfilled and these efforts require hard work and sincerity of the entire team in ensuring all components are met," she said.
Armed with superior accreditation currently held by S-2 PKK FT UNY, Prof. Herman Dwi Surjono Ph.D. as Dean of FT UNY hopes that all elements of the study program will continue to maintain and improve quality because it is not impossible that the parameters will be higher in the coming years. Prof. Herman Dwi Surjono Ph.D. congratulated the maximum achievement in the accreditation process this time.
