One of the students of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, namely Ahzami Fadilah Akbar (S1 Electrical Engineering). Became the only delegate from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta who had the opportunity to gain knowledge at Asia University through the program "2023 SPRING EXCHANGE PROGRAM ASIA UNIVERSITY, TAIWAN."
The program graduation was announced by Asia University through an email sent on Thursday (22/12/2022). Previously, Ahzami participated in a series of selections, namely internal selection conducted by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta on November 17-25, 2022 and 7 participants were selected. Then the external selection by Asia University on December 15, 2022 and 1 participant was selected.
In this activity Ahzami attended lectures for one semester at Asia University from February 12 - June 16, 2023. During lectures there, students are given the opportunity to take a minimum of 3 credits and a maximum of 18 credits. In addition, they can participate in activities outside the classroom such as talent and interest activities, art, and conduct research with leading professors at Asia University.
This program has many benefits because in addition to being able to learn advanced technology in Taiwan, it can also interact with students from various countries, and deepen understanding of international culture. In addition, these activities will open up opportunities to expand networks and develop adaptability in new situations.
Student mobility activities in the form of student exchange programs are a form of achievement of the mission of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, namely increasing the national reputation (World Class University) by promoting the role of internationalization by the entire academic community, including students as a form of support for the vision and mission of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta.
