UNY Robotics Team won six championships from seven divisions of the Indonesian Robot Contest 2023 Region I competition. The 2023 Indonesian Robot Contest held at Semarang University consists of seven divisions including the Indonesian Ash Robot Contest (KRAi), Indonesian SAR Robot Contest (KRSRI), Indonesian Dance Robot Contest (KRSTI), Indonesian Thematic Robot Contest (KRTMI), Wheeled Indonesian Soccer Robot Contest (KRSBI-B), Humanoid Indonesian Soccer Robot Contest (KRSBI-H) and Indonesian Underwater Robot Contest (KRBAI). On May 28, 2023 to July 3, 2023, the Regional Level KRI was held, consisting of Region I and Region II.
The KRI Contingent Robotics Team known as UNY Robotics Team entered into Region I which was held on May 29 to May 31, 2023 which was held online in the hall of the KPLT building on the 3rd floor of FT UNY. Seven teams participated in KRI 2023 consisting of Maestro-Evo (KRAi), Gareng Punk (KRSRI), Rosemery (KRSTI), Abhinaya (KRTMI), Mobo-Evo (KRSBI-B), Al-'Aadiyaat (KRSBI-H) and Mavis Foundation (KRBAI).
Good news and smiles can be felt by the UNY Robotics Team because they won the championship at the Regional KRI event. Based on the results of the KRl Regional I championship, the KRI team won five first place winners and one third place. The five teams that won first place include Maestro-Evo in the KRAi division, Rosemery in the KRSTI division, Mobo-Evo division (KRSBI-B), Al-'Aadiyaat (KRSBI-H) and Mavis Foundation (KRBAI). While the Abhinaya team in the KR1MI division won 3rd place. Of course, the success achieved by the UNY Robot Team is proof that UNY is an excellent, creative, innovative and sustainable campus.
Furthermore, UNY Robotics Team, KRAi, KRSTI, KRTMI, KRSBI-Wheeled, KRSBIHumanoid and KRBAI divisions, will compete in the 2023 National KRI which will be held offline at Semarang University on June 21 - June 26, 2023. In accordance with the jargon "LET'S MAKE A GREAT HISTORY" let's carve the history of UNY in the 2023 National KRI event. UNY Robotics Team is optimistic for the National KRI event at Semarang University, hoping to bring a good name to Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, of course, with various prayers and support from the entire UNY academic community.
