By admin | 8:37 AM WIB, Sat March 18, 2023

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) on Thursday (16/3) received a team of assessors from the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN PT) to conduct an assessment of the Master of Family Welfare (PKK) Study Program. The assessors who came were Dr. Ni Ketut Widiartini, M.Pd from Ganesha University of Education (UNDHIKSA) and Dr. Trisanti Widowati, M.Si from Semarang State University (UNNES).

Also welcomed from UNY were the Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs (AK) Prof. Dr. Siswantoyo, M.Kes., and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering (FT) Prof. Herman Dwi Surjono, M.Sc., M.T., Ph.D., along with the Vice Deans of FT. Host Team of the Faculty of Engineering, and leaders and staff from the academic field.

Prof. Siswantoyo in his speech expressed his gratitude to the team of assessors who had come to UNY and were ready to guide and provide an assessment of the PKK Master Program so that later it could be better and achieve superior accreditation. In addition, he also said that UNY always moves quickly in order to create changes towards improvements in all fields including facilities and infrastructure as well as Human Resources (HR). For the academic field, in addition to accelerating the acceleration of professors, UNY is also actively encouraging lecturers and education personnel (Tendik) to further study up to the Doctoral level (S3). At the end of his speech, Prof. Siswantoyo also appealed to the relevant parties to prepare forms and everything needed to complete this accreditation assessment.

Ketut Widiartini, one of the assessor team, said that the purpose of coming to UNY was to cross check the existing data and share knowledge. She also hoped that later the assessment process could be carried out synergistically in order to create a good relationship between the assessors and UNY.

Another assessor, Trisanti Widowati, said that it is a moral obligation for the assessor team from BAN PT to correct each other with the study program in addition to providing input and asking for evidence for the completeness of the accreditation process.
