The Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University received a visit from the Faculty of Engineering, Surabaya State University on Thursday, (23/11 2023). The delegation from the Faculty of Engineering, Surabaya State University was led by the Vice Dean 1 of FT UNESA, participating in the group of Study Program Coordinators, Chairperson of the FT UNESA Quality Assurance Cluster and the Study Program Quality Assurance Unit. The delegation from FT UNESA was received directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering UNY. Vice Dean of AKA FT UNY, Vice Dean of RKSIU FT UNY, Head of Quality Assurance FT UNY, all study program Quality Assurance Groups and staff in FT UNY.
In his remarks, Vice Dean 1 of FT UNESA, Prof. Dr. Agus Wiyono, M.T., revealed the purpose of this comparative study was to obtain information about quality assurance management, accreditation system, and accreditation preparation.
Dean of FT UNY, Prof. Dr. Mutiara Nugraheni, S.TP., M.Si., welcomed the visit from FT UNESA, where this event is one of the media to discuss and exchange information. “We are very happy, let us work together for progress in UNESA and UNY in order to improve quality,” she said.
The agenda continued with a discussion on the quality assurance mechanism of faculties and study programs as well as how to manage national and international accreditation. The discussion session was led by Dr. Umi Rochayati, M.T., as the Head of Quality Assurance of FT UNY.
