COLLABORATION WITH STAKEHOLDERS, DPTSP AND JAKON IV CENTER SURABAYA HELD STUDENT AND ALUMNI CERTIFICATION

The Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education, Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University together with the Civil Alumni Association collaborated with the Surabaya Region IV Construction Services Center, Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) on August 23, 2023, through the implementation of SKK certification for prospective alumni and alumni. This activity was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University (Prof. Herman Dwi Surjono, M.Sc., M.T., Ph.D.) and attended by the Head of the Surabaya Region IV Construction Services Center (Ismail Abdul Muttalib, S.T., M.T.); Head of the Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education (Prof. Dr. Ir. Slamet Widodo, M.T.); Head of the Department of Applied Bachelor of Civil Engineering UNY (Dr.-Ing Satoto Endar Nayono). Ing Satoto Endar Nayono, M.Eng., M.Sc.); Head of the UNY Civil Alumni Association (Galeh NIP Pratama, M.Pd.); Head of the Construction Services Development Section of the Sleman Regency Public Works, Housing and Settlement Area Agency (Fajar Waskito, S.T., M.Eng.); and Head of the Construction Services Management Section of the Construction Services Development Center of the DIY PUPESDM Agency (Budi Prastowo, S.T.).

This certification activity prepares students and alumnae to increase competence and update knowledge in the field of construction, and it allows alumni and students to share experiences related to knowledge development through case studies in the Construction Services Industry. This activity is an advanced program implemented by IAS, and over 500 students and alumni have been certified since 2017. On this occasion, 57 alumni took the exam under the job titles SKK (Work Competency Certification) K3 Supervisor, and Supervisor of Main Building Structure Work.
