Ahmad Rizal Rifani won first place in the diploma category for outstanding students for the 58th anniversary of UNY. Rizal managed to go through several stages of assessment by lecturers and judges who are competent in their fields.
Rizal's success cannot be separated from his scientific work. Before his success with various scientific works in the field of machinery, Rizal admitted that, at first, he did not have a passion for the field of machinery. However, the support of his parents, competent lecturers, and a comfortable campus environment made it easier for him to adapt to mechanical engineering. "I have a hobby of writing scientific papers, and since junior high school, I have joined the youth scientific work organization," said the owner of about 30 national achievements in the field of scientific writing Tuesday, June 28, 2022.
Since entering college, Rizal has been invited to participate in scientific writing competitions by organizational colleagues from the Technological Engineering UKM of UNY and the Matrix Research UKM of the Faculty of Engineering. By joining the student activity unit, Rizal always tries and continues to learn to develop the ideas he finds and participate in the specified competitions. Rizal also joined the UNY Robotics team (Team Maestro_Evo), where I managed to win the 3rd National Champion in 2020 and the 2nd National Champion in 2021.
