The 2024 National Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) was held by the National Achievement Center of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology at Universitas Muhammadiyah Solo. This activity took place from July 1 - July 6, 2024 which was held offline at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. UNY itself participated in seven categories in this contest, namely Team Mobo-Evo (KRSBI-Beroda), Team Gareng Punk (KRSI), Team Al-'Adiyaat dalam (KRSBI-Humanoid), Team Maestro-Evo (KRAI), Team Abhinaya (KRTMI), Team Mavis (KRBAI) and Team Rosemery (KRSTI).
KRSBI Wheeled Division which is one of the categories by adopting the RoboCup Middle Size League International Level robot soccer match held since 1997. While at the National KRI this year, the MOBO-EVO UNY team competed with 12 of the best teams in Indonesia. The development of the MOBO-EVO UNY team's abilities in mechanics, manufacturing, electronics, programming, articial intelligent, image processing, digital communication, and strategy on good robots has led to the achievement of the Second National Champion of the Wheeled Soccer Robot Contest (KRSBI-Beroda).
Dias as the chairman expressed his gratitude for the 2024 Indonesian Robot Contest match "The MOBO-EVO team is very grateful that the results achieved can still maintain their achievements, and as a reference to improve their achievements next year. The efforts made and endless prayers do not betray the results and provide enthusiasm to continue researching the latest technology. From the results obtained, the team is very grateful for all the support and prayers from parents, closest people, supervisors and the entire MOBO-EVO family, "he said. Meanwhile, Daffa as the Motion Programmer expressed gratitude for the hard work of everyone in the team. "Although there are many challenges this year, thank God we can maintain the results and continue to strive for next year to become the first National champion," he said. This year, the team was able to donate a medal to UNY and lead UNY to become the 2nd National Champion in 2024. Hopefully in 2025 we can get the overall champion in the 2025 Indonesian Robot Contest.
MOBO-EVO team with supervisor Sigit Yatmono, S.T., M.T., along with 22 active students from various majors, namely Dias Djati Ababil (Chairman), Fathonah Utami Ningsih, Dina Damayanti (Manager), Wahyu Adji Agus Saputra, Daffa Agil Ma'ruf, Gilang Henry Gunawan, Toby Averous (Motion Programmer), Galih Masykur Aditama, Ferri Abhirama Putra (Communication Programmer), Dimas Pradana, Dias Djati Ababil, Hanif Yoga Umbara, Muh Sigit Putra Giantara, Dwi Anneck Rahmawati, Bagus Fahmi Anwari, Adityarafi Hendri Pratama (Mechanic) and Tulus Setiawan, Tomi Aditya, Fauzan, Rizka Nandya Septian, Anang Firmansyah, Ugik Firmana Kurniawan, Muhammad Rizqy Ramadhan (Electronic).
